These days, people discuss a lot about “No Ego Leadership”, is it truly good? In a Forbes article titled “The No. 1 Reason Leaders Fall Short: Ego”, Bruce Kasanoff wrote “Ego traps talented professionals. Leaders reach a point where their opinion matters more than your opinion. They stop listening. And that means they stop learning”. In another hand, without ego, how could leaders lead their teams if they have no belief in themselves? Just like vehicles; different people own different cars; some are big, some are small, some in red, some in white and all of them come in different shapes and designs… People even have different approaches of using their cars to drive them to the goals. Same as ego, it is neither good nor bad, it’s a useful tool of leadership to reflect perfectly who you are among others and tell people how you see them in your mind. Through this workshop, we’ll together discuss how to keep our egos in a best suitable size for us and our team members, so that ego works effectively as our leadership assistants, not the other side.
