A brief recap of Certified ScrumMaster Course (CSM) – August 2018
Last week, the Certified ScrumMaster Course (August 2018), organized by Scrum Alliance and Axon Active finished after 3 full days of useful knowledge exchange and practice. The class, with the participation of 26 IT professionals from companies in Vietnam and South Korea, is facilitated by Zuzana Sochova, certified Scrum Trainer from Scrum Alliance, and Sebastian Sussmann, CIO of Axon Active.

In this three-day course, attendees gained a closer approach on the fundamentals of Scrum and explores deeply Scrum Master roles in the context of organizational development. Through great mix of games and exercises in group activities, they have learned to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI), the primary enabler of alignment in all levels of an agile organization.
Many teamwork exercises help participants improve their communication and problem-solving skill in Scrum practice
Trainers used a time-boxing structure, a feature used in all Scrum events, in doing all activities, allowing learners to experience Scrum as in real-world scenario. There was also a strong emphasis of letting the students teach and learn from each other based upon their own experiences, and then Zuzana and Sebastian would follow up on the more confusing or controversial points.

The course also bring networking opportunities for participants with different professional background. From CEO, Project Manager, Scrum Master to Developers, they all enjoyed sharing their stories in working as a team to achieve success.
