The beginning
Our history begins in Lucerne, Switzerland, where our founders, Stefan Muff and Dr. Uli Sigg, built Axon Group to offer solutions for the challenges of digital transformation. Having come across many business owners who struggled to innovate and implement new technology in their business, Stefan and Dr. Uli pursued a solution to address their customer's concerns.
2008
HCMC - Vietnam
The idea of flexible and affordable software development services becomes the foundation of Axon Active. It was 2008 when our first software engineer teams started to operate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
2011
Expanding
We made our first move up North to a beautiful beach city - Da Nang.
The office soon became one of the most desirable workplaces in Da Nang, and provided opportunities to thousands of talented software engineers in central provinces.
2012
Scrum Breakfast
The Scrum Breakfast event was started in 2012. It has become the most well-known monthly Scrum event where people with the same interest in Agile software development would sit down and enjoy their free breakfast while discussing and exchanging everything about Scrum and Agile.
2015
DevDay Da Nang
In early 2015, our dream of a big playground where IT students and developers can engage with experts in the field came true with DevDay Da Nang. Our first event attracted over 800 students, IT staff, and 24 speakers from local and overseas businesses. What we did triggered other IT companies to join hands in growing this potential playground and becoming one of Vietnam's biggest IT events.
2015
Global debut
In late 2015, our San Francisco office was opened to American corporations, allowing them to find more affordable and suitable software development services outside of Silicon Valley.
2017
New talents explored
Axon Active extend to Can Tho city, only a 3-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City, and with an international airport at the heart of the Mekong Delta.
